Valorem is seeking an individual with both technical ability and a strong desire to learn and help others, for the position of Support Engineer. In this role, you will need to possess the ability to effectively diagnose and resolve technical issues across a wide variety of technology platforms and software applications. As the Support Engineer, you will work in a team of 5-8 persons, acting as the point of escalation and assistance to Tier 1 Support Analysts. You will be responsible for understanding the business context and technical implementation of several large, high visibility applications. Primary responsibility is to assist with the technical solutions to questions, issues, changes and defects that arise in the ongoing maintenance and support of these applications. This will require a strong ability to learn, communicate and collaborate, as well as aptitude in a wide breath of technologies. You will work together with the Support Manager, Lead Support Engineer and the other Engineering teams to deliver high quality, optimized delivery of solutions.
