Valorem Reply is seeking an individual with an understanding of business technology and a passion for searching for and analyzing information that will support a strategic recommendation.
The successful candidate will have strong research skills and problem-solving abilities, a passion for finding answers, and a strong desire to learn and grow. The ability to multi-task and think creatively about the different kinds of information that could support a concept will be crucial for success – this may include researching current trends in a specific industry, finding related case studies, or scouring business publications for relevant points of view. Ideally, you will have the ability to craft a financial analysis to support a business case, or at least a desire to tackle this. Additionally, you should be comfortable communicating your analysis to stakeholders on a regular basis, both in writing and verbal.
As a Research Analyst, you will provide high quality information, along with sources and relevant documentation to Valorem Reply consultants, to increase depth of delivery of services to our clients. It is your responsibility to create a research approach for each engagement, document best practices in our research function, and continuously improve our research strategies and execution.  

General Description & Responsibilities

  • Research and analysis of customers business and participate in proposal development.
  • Research and understand our clients’ competitive landscape.
  • Analyse operating models, propose optimization opportunities including efficiencies and cost
  • Strong technology foundation, excellent understanding of business and finance is a must.
  • Understand the scope and timeline of a consultant’s research request
  • Collaborate on and own the research approach for each request
  • Manage research requests from origination to completion
  • Search various online sites to address research requests
  • Interview Valorem Reply consultants for company historical knowledge
  • Verify and document research sources
  • Communicate regularly and provide status with the consultant on the request
  • Write a summary of the information and the analysis that was done
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Valorem solutions and productivity tools
  • Collaborate with and build relationships with different teams at all Valorem Reply offices
  • Identify gaps in research processes and opportunities for improvements
  • Participate in knowledge sharing and project retrospectives regularly
  • Placement Criteria & Requirements

  • 6 to 8 years of experience in technology Consulting Industry
  • Experienced with MS Office 365 suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams (PowerBI or other BI tool experience will be an advantage)
  • Excellent search skills and ability to analyze information and write summaries
  • Familiarity with technology consulting / professional services environment
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Passion for research and learning new information
  • Understanding of basic business terminologies and concepts
  • Strong self-awareness, results-oriented, accountable, and a detailed self-starter
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • A proven track record of accountability
  • Positive attitude and ability to interact with senior professionals
  • MBA or Post-Graduate in English, Economics, Marketing, Library Sciences
