The Azure Mixed Reality world is not standing still and Valorem is helping clients and the tech community stay ahead of this emerging tech, by partnering with various AR/VR organizations to deliver free virtual learning sessions around the world.

I recently shared a developer Azure Spatial Anchor session live on Valorem’s YouTube channel. In the presentation I covered what a Spatial Anchor is, why Azure Spatial Anchors is a transformational technology, and how mobile Augmented Reality (AR) remains relevant even when we have advanced head-mounted devices like the HoloLens 2. I also showed lots of examples and use cases for enterprise and consumer scenarios. After that, I explained how to develop these applications covering the Azure Spatial Anchors SDK and a minimal demo application built with Unity. I walked attendees through the code and concluded it with Q&A addressing audience questions.

If you missed our live stream session, you can still access the slide deck here (it's quite large with embedded videos, so I recommend downloading it). In addition you can find the demo source code on GitHub here. Lastly, you can watch the session recording here or embedded below for the full experience.
