We had another successful evening in Sheffield, UK, at the end of February, hosting the Yorkshire Azure Group at our offices at Electric Works. These community meetups offer opportunities for networking and learning whilst enjoying some drinks and pizza!
The talks for February’s meetup were from Sofia Trevino, Cloud Solution Architect @ Microsoft, who gave us an overview of GitHub Copilot, its capabilities and future roadmap. The future in this space looks exciting and we can’t wait to make use of the capabilities Copilot has to offer and help our customers reap the benefits.
We also had a talk from Jared Holgate, Senior Cloud Solution Architect @ Microsoft, who introduced us to Azure Verified Modules and, in particular, the transition away from the old Enterprise Scale Azure Landing Zone monolithic module to a new Azure Verified Module for Platform Landing Zones. This is a positive step and something in which we at Valorem are particularly interested as we work with many customers designing and optimising their landing zones.
Please look out for the next time we host the Yorkshire Azure User Group in Sheffield by following our LinkedIn page.
See you next time!
